By booking any service through Abundant Balance Reiki Energy & Sound Healing, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and policies:

Booking & Payment

Full payment is required at the time of booking to reserve your session.
Payments are processed securely through Square. Abundant Balance does not store or access your full payment details.
Group events and classes must be prepaid to confirm your spot.

Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refunds

24-Hour Notice Required

Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours before your appointment to qualify for a refund or to reschedule.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed appointments ("no-shows"), are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.

Emergency Situations

If an emergency prevents you from attending your appointment, please contact me at (805) 558-0900 as soon as possible. Exceptions may be made at my discretion.

Prepaid Packages & Group Events

Sessions missed without proper notice will be deducted from your package balance.
Group events are subject to the same 24-hour cancellation policy.

Late Arrivals

Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time.
Arriving more than 10 minutes late may result in cancellation and forfeiture of your session.

Client Eligibility

Clients under 18 must have written consent from a parent or guardian and be accompanied during the session.
The parent or guardians are responsible for ensuring the client under 18 is physically and emotionally able to participate in any offered services.

Health & Wellness Disclaimer

Services are intended to support relaxation, stress reduction, and personal well-being. They are not a substitute for licensed medical or psychological care.
No medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment is provided. Always consult a licensed healthcare provider for any health-related concerns.

Reiki Disclaimer & Liability Waiver

By booking a Reiki session with Abundant Balance Reiki Energy and Sound Healing, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Reiki is a complementary energy healing practice designed to promote relaxation, balance, and a sense of well-being. It is not a substitute for licensed medical or psychological care.
Reiki practitioners do not diagnose conditions, prescribe medications, or perform medical treatment. You understand that all services offered are supportive in nature and not intended to replace care from a qualified health professional.
You are responsible for consulting a healthcare provider before participating in Reiki sessions, particularly if you have any physical or mental health concerns.
Reactions to Reiki may vary. You may experience emotional release, physical sensations, or subtle energetic shifts during or after the session. These responses are considered part of the natural healing process.
By participating, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with Reiki services and release Abundant Balance Reiki Energy and Sound Healing, its practitioners, and representatives from any liability or claims that may arise from your session.

Booking a session constitutes a complete and unconditional release of liability to the greatest extent permitted by law in the State of California.

Sound Healing Disclaimer & Liability Waiver

By booking an individual Sound Healing session or participating in a Group Sound Bath with Abundant Balance Reiki Energy and Sound Healing, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

You understand that Sound Healing is a therapeutic practice involving sound vibrations and frequencies designed to promote relaxation and well-being. Participation may involve emotional or physical responses, such as emotional release, dizziness, or relaxation effects, which you accept as inherent to the experience.
You are responsible for consulting with a physician or healthcare provider before participating in Sound Healing sessions if you have any concerns regarding health or medical conditions. Your participation confirms that you do not have any physical, medical, or psychological conditions that would prevent safe involvement.
It is always recommended that you seek the advice of a licensed healthcare professional whenever you feel it is necessary concerning your personal health, especially with serious conditions. You should consult with your physician and receive approval to attend healing sessions if you have metal in your body, have suffered a concussion, have a pacemaker, use an insulin pump, or any other medical device or condition that could be affected. If in doubt, consult your physician before your session.
By participating, you voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages, known or unknown, that may arise during or as a result of the session.
You release Abundant Balance Reiki Energy and Sound Healing, including its practitioners, employees, agents, and representatives, from any claims, injuries, damages, or losses that may occur during participation in Sound Healing sessions or related activities.
You also acknowledge that Abundant Balance Reiki Energy and Sound Healing is not liable for conditions, actions, or circumstances related to the premises where sessions are conducted.

Booking constitutes a complete and unconditional release of liability to the greatest extent permitted by law in the State of California.

Privacy & Communications

Your personal information is used only for scheduling, communication, and service delivery. It is never shared, except as required to process payments or by law.
All payments are processed through Square, which complies with industry-standard privacy protections.
You may receive SMS or email notifications related to your appointment. You can opt out at any time.

Media Use at Events

Photos or videos may be taken at group events for promotional purposes. By attending, you grant permission to be included in such media unless you request otherwise before the event.
